Clap your hands and say yeah 'cause the weekend's finally here - well as soon as we make it through the work day. Tonight I'm heading back to where it all began - and by that I mean the beautiful friendship between Katie and I - for a messy night out in Hamilton. Time to throw on some light wash jeans and an ill fitting tube top, we'll be knocking back vodka waters like we're still in undergrad. Wish you were here Katers xo.
I really wish I was going to this tonight - an international celebration of fashion slash campaign to get people to spend more money on designer goods. Retailers are staying open late, models and celebrities are making appearances and who knows what other fabulous fashiony fun will be happening in cities all over the world. However, yet again, it seems that Canada aint cool enough to play with the cool kids. So, since I'm too late to jet to NYC I guess I'll have to settle for watching the star studded promo video featuring fashion lovelies like DVF, SJP and ... P Diddy?
Its looking seasonably inappropriate (ie: warm) outside right now and I've spent the whole day on le laptop doing work for this. Fabulously good cause but not nearly as satisfying as my pool would have felt today. Ah well...at least i'm adding some funk to my thursday and heading downtown tonight for The In Crowd's night of sexy motown mayhem. Midweek nights out are a luxury that only students and unemployed folk get to look forward to, so i'm enjoying it while I can. Anyone want to join me while I groove?
